Linguistical Commission: The commission plans to draw up an autodidactic course on the Vulcan language and a Vulcan/Italian-Italian/Vulcan dictionary.
Bibliographic Commission: The commission's purpose is to collect all the materials about Vulcan culture (both the ones that are available from existing sources and those that the Academy itself will produce) and to place them at disciples's disposal.
Legislative Commission: The commission sees for the draft of logical and infused with I.D.I.C. laws.
Ambassadorial Commission: The commission takes care of all the activities, which require the Academy to be in touch with the remainder both of the STIC and of the world. It is traditionally ruled by the Vulcan Ambassador for Italy.
Prism Commission: The commission acts as a coordinator for all the activities and projects about science, arts and technologies, trying to study all the aspects of the "object" under examination, such as the prism shows the connection of the "only" white light to the "many" coloured lights.
